McCann Advisory & Consulting is a founder-led advisory and leadership practice working with leaders, Boards and organisations navigating growth, change and complex decisions.

The practice brings together commercial judgement, leadership experience and coaching capability, with specialist depth in independent education.

Across each area, the aim is the same: to create greater clarity around what matters, confidence to act on what comes next and the leadership capability to carry it through.

Executive experience changes the advice.

Organisations rarely experience strategy, finance, people and leadership as separate issues. A significant decision may begin with the numbers and quickly become a question of judgement, governance, communication or leadership.

MA&C was created around that reality. The practice combines commercial and financial thinking with an understanding of how people lead, how organisations work and what it means to remain accountable for the outcome.

That combination shapes both the advisory work and the leadership work.

MA&C also works selectively with leaders, Boards and organisations on significant strategic, financial and organisational decisions where senior judgement and an independent perspective are valuable.

How the practice works

MA&C is intentionally focused rather than broad. Engagements begin with the question or challenge that matters, not a predetermined solution or a catalogue of services.

As a founder-led practice, MA&C brings senior judgement close to the work and can draw on appropriate coaching, advisory or specialist capability where an engagement requires it. The model is designed to remain personal and accountable while allowing the right expertise to be brought together for the work at hand.

Jacquie McCann

Jacquie McCann founded MA&C after more than 15 years’ C-suite leadership experience across finance, operations, governance and organisational development.

Her experience includes executive responsibility as a COO, CFO and Company Secretary. Her career spans education, financial services, technology and media, including experience with organisations such as IBM, NAB, Macquarie and Santander.

Today, Jacquie works across advisory, executive coaching and leadership development. She remains actively involved in governance as a Non-Executive Director, Chair of an Audit, Finance & Risk Committee and Director of ICF Australasia.

Jacquie is also an Associate Trainer for The Living Leader, delivering its Personal Leadership Programme to leaders and organisations across Australia.

Jacquie's experience gives the practice its foundation. The MA&C model is designed to extend beyond one individual, bringing the right expertise around clients while retaining the judgement, care and accountability of a founder-led practice.
